Brevard Sustainability Working Group is committed to providing support and resources for sustainability boards, committees, and elected officials throughout the county.
BSWG's vision is to inspire sustainable environmental, economic, and social practices to achieve quality of life for all people in Brevard County.
Brevard Sustainability Working Group's mission is to work collaboratively to improve the social, economic, and environmental well-being of the community by supporting, educating, and providing resources to sustainability boards, committees, and entities pursuing a sustainable Brevard.
BSWG goals are to share the value of sustainability, build partnerships, identify resources, scale up projects, advance advocacy, bridge gaps, and share successes

The Roots of BSWG
The Brevard Sustainability Group was formed in April 2018 as a catalyst for the advancement of sustainability in Brevard. The group's volunteer members consist of individuals from government agencies, non-profit and non-governmental organizations, academia, and businesses who focus on our natural, social, and economic resources meeting the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generations. BSWG identifies needs and anticipates sustainability issues as well as provides potential for stronger impacts for change in Brevard by working together across boundaries.
